Re: Tackle Tarts
not this time around, but was when i first got in to carp fishing, everything had to be stainless on the bank.. so solar was the name, armalite sp's for distance, nash pursuits su's such a lovely rod, tournement reels, delkims....the list was endless, then the bivvy, god i had everything, tv, radio, cooler, bivvy slippers, carpet!!! etc etc, no wonder i used a hilux to get anywhere.
so now i use a MGF and keep things light and simple, but still use stainless bank sticks, and the reel handles have to match....

what does the above blue bit mean ??
ok few questions/statements: -
1. basia's very nice reel's fair play mate
2. ??? "an argos outfit"
3. What reels should you put on then ?? - I dont need pit reels and i think shimmys are the best for baitrunners so the xtea's are the top ones they do ??
4. How are Matrix SS shite ??
sorry dont take many pics of the tackle

some people take the bait very quickly on ere indeed lol others need a slight bit of baiting up lol...
But as for my carptroversial post..if it gets people to type there agreements or disagreements then it will keep the forum alive as well as help people to understand the ways of the fishing art...
and who was it that said "thoughts provoke" lol Oh it was me lmao
Re: Tackle Tarts
pointless having 50mm but rings if you aint regularly casting more than 150yds,same with 3lb tc rods, just hinders the feeling of the fight....imo
bleedin tackle tart!
