Not too sure about what spod rod to get, what test curve, how much to spend?
Can anyone shed any light on the subject. It will be my first time spodding, so i am a proper newbie.

I think its down to personal choice but i use the BERKLEY Shuttle Spod Rod 4.5lb at about £70 it not a bad price i also use the berkley marker rod which is same sort of price. You would be better just going to a tackle shop that has a few in stock and see how they feel.
