Just back from France
Was out at the syndicate lake last week with Trish and one of our new members Dave
it was quite a wet week but a good one
As soon we drove on the lake and seen it in all its glory, we knew we was going to be in for a great week.
Looking up from the dam end.
from the mobile home swim.
looking out from the end swim.
That first night on the lake had a real magical feal to the place, the wildlife was absolutely fantastic. It felt just like being in Jurrasic park, minus the big scarey Dinosaurs. But with plenty of Kooko's,Owls,Herons, Deer and the frogs.
The fishing was all we had expected, as this lake was set up to chalenge your anging skills ( not just a hole in the ground just full of fish )
Dave did realy well for his first ever visit, with some 20+ carp to over 30 from the end swim with is quite heavy with pads.
it defernatly put a smile on his face
I was lucky with the best fish of the week at 38.00 taking one of my Moonfruit baits ( Thanks Dean ), cant wait to see what the bigger girls come out at, as looking at the weight gain on the ones I could recognised, they could be toching 50 lbs or over
we had couple of barbys in the week even in the rain LOL
Here are some of the carp we caught, with the smallest fish that week being a 21 common
Dave also went for a paddle in the stock pond and said he had seen carp swiming past him to over 20 lbs
Hope you enjoyed this small update
