Hi Scott,

Having owned a mk1 strongbow and my son has a contact, I would say the contact is the better bivvy.

The strongbow is too small for a long session (if it raining then you haven't really got the room to even cook a bacon sandwich), and a pain in the bum go get up and take down for short sessions. Also the poles are fibreglass and I snapped a pole quite soon after buying it

The contact seems bigger inside when up and rigid poles make it a bit easier to take down.

For the same sort of money, I'd take a look at the chub s plus, roughly the same size as the contact with a detachable front for the hot summer we're supposed to have.

Hope that helps
Scott
