Linear Fisheries Tackle thefts

Post  Admin on Tue Jun 14, 2011 7:42 pm

5 anglers had rods reels & buzzers taken by someone in one night alone this week, between the hrs of 1am and 4am, it seems the thief or thieves know a way round the Anti theft feature on Delkim alarms, a technique which even Delkim admit can be used to remove the alarms without giving any indication on either the heads themselves or the reciever, this is despite them being marketed & sold with an "Anti Theft Feature".

Details have been passed onto the local police who are are following a number of leads, but if you do happen to be visitng the area either to fish or just visit and do see anything untoward, no matter how trivial, report it to the relevant authorities ASAP.

If anyone has information please let us know
