furnace lakes
hi all.
I have recently been brought into the world of fishing(only been 4 times) and have to say i'm loving it everytime.
my first introduction was at furnace lakes in slinfold...i did a 24 hour stint with a couple of friends and totally enjoyed it there, but i keep hearing mixed reviews on the place, yes,i know it can get busy but i think the surrounding are beautiful, the staff helpful and the facilities excellent..i will be going back.
just wanted to know anyone elses thoughts or comments on the place??
cheers guys.

Re: furnace lakes
Furnace is a very good complex. I really enjoy it everytime i go there. I must admit, it does get very busy. But that adds to the excitement i feel.

Re: furnace lakes
I fished it alot when in the UK there are some very nice fish in there but it can be quite hard because there is a fair bit of pressure on the lakes try fishing early and late season with meat or salmon/cav boilies has worked in the past or a bit of maize.
Re: furnace lakes
To be honest lets not fish there for all the reasons out linned and the fact the fish all look the same and are french fish all day long lol..
Ive know of 2 blokes that have personal best in there ones a 30 something and the others a 40 something and you cant tell them apart.....
Another fishery that wont see me there or wearing out my skitex walking in the winter...
